Barbara Mann, MD, received her BA with High Honors from the University of Michigan, and her MD from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She was inducted into AOA and the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her academic achievement and compassionate patient care. She completed her medical internship and residency at Columbia Presbyterian and went on to fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. She has practiced general pulmonary medicine since then in private practice. She is also the mother of twin girls and an avid runner, and she can usually be found running around Central Park when she is not at work. She is looking forward to the next phase of her career as a member of the Mount Sinai-National Jewish Respiratory Institute.
